- Current students and alumni enrolled at the Friedman School after 2006 have the option to request an electronic official transcript via SIS or via Parchment.
- There is a $3.15 charge for each electronic official transcript request and Parchment accepts credit cards.
- The electronic official transcript request option also provides you with the ability to upload a PDF document to accompany the processing of your electronic official transcript request (e.g., cover page for DICAS, etc.).
- You may request the electronic official transcript for yourself or for a third-party by logging into SIS and click the Academics tab (located at the top navigation bar) and select from the drop down the Official Transcript option, and then select Electronic Transcript. Please note: electronic transcript requests will be processed on the same day IF the order is received before 2:00 PM Arizona time on a business day. If it is after 2:00 PM Arizona time or on a Saturday/Sunday, it will not be processed until the next business day.
- If you do not remember your Tufts Username and/or Password, which is needed to request an official transcript via SIS, go to https://tuftstools.tufts.edu.
- Parchment (not the Friedman School) will handle any refund requests, if needed.
- In advance of submitting your electronic official transcript request, you are responsible for noting if your transcript is missing any grades/degree (if needed for your request). This can be checked by downloading your Unofficial Transcript (log into SIS and click the Academics tab (located at the top navigation bar) and select from the drop down the Unofficial Transcript option). When submitting your electronic official transcript request, you may select “Hold for Grades/Hold for Degree” so the request will not be processed until the grades or degree are posted to your transcript. Otherwise, if you do not select “Hold for Grades/Hold for Degree,” and you click, “Send Now” (with the grades/degree missing that you need), you will be charged by Parchment again when you submit a second request for the electronic official transcript once the grades/degree are posted to your transcript.
- If you have a Hold on your account in SIS from the Bursar’s Office, SAHA, or because your Current Address/Emergency Contact in SIS are missing, this will block you from submitting a request for an electronic official transcript (as well as for a hard copy of an official transcript).
- If you have multiple degrees and/or enrollments from multiple Tufts Schools, you will have the option to request your transcript from all Tufts Schools.
- Important: Parchment also has an option to request a hard copy of your official transcript to be mailed via the U.S. Postal Service; however, if you select this option you will be charged $5.85 per request. For now, the Friedman School will continue to provide our U.S. Postal Service mailing service for hard copy official transcript requests via SIS at no charge and the turnaround time is approximately 5-6 business days. Please take extra care reviewing the options available in SIS when requesting your official transcript.
- If you are currently an enrolled Friedman School student or a Friedman School alumni enrolled after 2006, you may download your Unofficial Transcript as a PDF document. To download your Unofficial Transcript, log into SIS and click the Academics tab (located at the top navigation bar) and select from the drop down the Unofficial Transcript option, and follow the prompts in order to independently download your Unofficial Transcript as a PDF document.
- Your Unofficial Transcript cannot be used for official purposes, however, it can be a valuable tool for reference as it lists your class history, SHUs, and grades.
- As a reminder, if you do not remember your Tufts Username and/or Password, which is needed to request an official transcript via SIS, go to https://tuftstools.tufts.edu.
- The electronic official transcript is not an available option to alumni enrolled at the Friedman School prior to 2006 since the academic record is not housed electronically in SIS. Please click here to complete a request form for a hard copy official transcript to be sent to you or to a third-party and email the completed form to nutritionregistrar@tufts.edu for processing.
- We will work with Tufts University’s Archives to obtain your official transcript via microfiche. The turnaround time to process this type of request may exceed our typical turnaround time so please review the request form instructions carefully for details.
- If you do not want to use the Parchment electronic official transcript option, for now, the Friedman School will continue to provide our U.S. Postal Service mailing service for hard copy official transcript requests via SIS at no charge and the turnaround time is approximately 5-6 business days. This does not account for any U.S. Postal Service delivery delays.
- Also, if you have a Hold on your account in SIS from the Bursar’s Office, SAHA, or because your Current Address/Emergency Contact in SISare missing, this will block you from submitting a request for a hard copy of an official transcript (or an electronic official transcript).
- As a reminder, if you do not remember your Tufts Username and/or Password, which is needed to request an official transcript via SIS, go to https://tuftstools.tufts.edu.
- To request a hard copy of your Official Transcript, log into SIS and click the Academics tab (located at the top navigation bar) and select from the drop down the Official Transcript option, and follow the prompts.
- Important: Parchment also has an option for you to request a hard copy of your official transcript to be mailed; however, if you select this option you will be billed $5.85 per request so please take extra care reviewing the options available in SIS when requesting a hard copy of your official transcript.
- Please email nutritionregistrar@tufts.edu if you requested a hard copy of your official transcript for yourself via SIS and you would like to pick it up from our office at the Friedman School, Jaharis Center, 150 Harrison Avenue, Boston, MA.
- Any student or alumni that needs overnight delivery of a hard copy of their official transcript may log into SIS and click the Academics tab (located at the top navigation bar) and select from the drop down the Official Transcript option, and then select Expedited Overnight Mailing. Please note: expedited overnight mailing of a hard copy official transcript request will be processed on the same day IF the order is received before 2:00 PM Arizona time on a business day. If it is after 2:00 PM Arizona time or on a Saturday/Sunday, it will not be processed until the next business day.
- You will be charged by Parchment (credit cards accepted) for this type of expedited overnight mailing request and the charge amount will be based on your selection choice and the destination for your hard copy official transcript request.
- As a reminder, if you do not remember your Tufts Username and/or Password, which is needed to request an official transcript via SIS, go to https://tuftstools.tufts.edu.
- For any international mailing requests, if you do not want to use the Parchment electronic official transcript option or the expedited overnight mailing of a hard copy official transcript option, you will need to email to nutritionregistrar@tufts.edu a self-pre-paid international mailing label (only UPS or FedEx), and we will process the hard copy official transcript request for you. Once processed, we will insert the hard copy official transcript in a mailer, adhere the self-pre-paid international mailing label you provided by email, and drop off in the Tufts UPS or FedEx drop box.
