- Forward your @tufts.edu address: After you graduate/complete your program, you are still active in the Tufts White Pages for 90 days. After the 90-day period is up, you will receive reminders via email for 4 weeks to set up mail forwarding. As long as you have set up forwarding for your @tufts.edu before your account expires, you will be able to keep that address; basically as an email "alias”. You will not be able to use that address for outgoing email as there isn't a mailbox attached to it. This also means if there are any saved emails in your Tufts email inboxes (that you want to keep), they need to be forwarded to a personal address or saved in some other way. Visit tuftstools.tufts.edu.
- Box, Canvas, Trunk: Once the account has switched to Alumni status, you will be unable to log into anything on the Tufts network. However, you will still be able to log in to SIS (as long as you remember your username and password) to download an Unofficial Transcript or request an Official Transcript. Before the account switches, you will need to download all the files they want to keep from each of the services, such as Trunk, Canvas, and Box.
- Canvas: https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10606, which is how to download all of one’s course submissions. In order to download course content files from Canvas, you must do them individually, as there is not a bulk download function. Here is documentation on downloading a single file: https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10545-421241997.
- Box: This can be done with an application called "Box Sync" which will download their files to their desktops.
- Trunk: https://trunkuserguide.screenstepslive.com/s/5891/m/18197/l/191770?data-resolve-url=true&data-manual-id=18197.
- You also will not have access to any Tufts network share drives if you had permission to utilize any of them. Contact it@tufts.edu with questions.
