The Friedman School pursues cutting-edge research and education from cell to society, including in molecular nutrition, human metabolism, population studies, clinical trials, nutrition interventions and behavior change, communication, food systems and sustainability, global food insecurity, humanitarian crises, and food economics and policy.
Kenji Thrash-Correia is the administrative manager of business operations at the Friedman School. In this role, she oversees a wide range of Human Resource-related transactions in collaboration with the School’s Offices of Research Administration and Faculty Affairs, Tufts Support Services (TSS), and Central Post Award.
Kenji collaborates with the Director of Business Operations and the Financial Coordinator to maintain, analyze, and review the School’s non-sponsored internal financial reports and provides periodic balance updates to Friedman School budget stakeholders. She also partners with the director on managing and improving the School’s information technology, purchasing, building/space, facilities, and other administrative needs, and implementing the administrative objectives of the School’s strategic plan.
Kenji brings to this role more than 5 years of experience working in sponsored research at Wellesley Centers for Women at Wellesley College. In her last assignment, she served as Assistant Director of Grant and Contract Services. She previously worked at Partners HealthCare headquarters in Somerville.
