Daniel joined the Nutrition Epidemiology Research Team at the Friedman School in 2015 as a Junior Research Fellow, and is researching global dietary intake patterns. He received his B.S. in Biochemistry from Northeastern University in 2013 and spent 9 months as a Fulbright Scholar in South Africa to research the epidemiology of fetal alcohol spectrum disorders in the Western Cape. He is interested in how factors such as tradition, education, socioeconomic status, and access to nutrition affect dietary intake patterns and contribute to disease and affect health disparities.
