Yue Huang

Yue Huang is a research associate at the Massachusetts Health Policy Commission, an independent state agency tasked with with monitoring health care spending growth in Massachusetts and providing data-driven policy recommendations regarding health care delivery and payment system reform. Prior to this position, she worked for 2 years on Dean Dariush Mozaffarian’s team at the Friedman School, focusing her research on the cost-effectiveness of evidence-based dietary policies. Yue received her B.S. in journalism from Boston University in 2011, after which she managed a fine dining restaurant in Newton with a cooking school and seasonal rooftop garden. In 2016, she completed her M.S. in Food Policy and Applied Nutrition from the Friedman School, with a concentration in agricultural science and policy.
