Kerri Hawkins

Kerri Hawkins is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Personal Trainer and the founder of Perfect Pear Coaching a telehealth nutrition practice focused on anti-inflammatory eating and lifestyle changes. Kerri helps her clients ditch the perfectionism and focus their energy on nourishing their bodies and souls.
Kerri started her career as a Bariatric Dietitian at Tufts Medical Center, where she has become an expert in weight management and bariatric surgery. Through that experience she developed a passion for preventive medicine and nutrition therapy. In 2011 she joined Family Practice Group, P.C.in Arlington Massachusetts where she worked in a collaborative medical model known as a Patient Centered Medical Home.
Kerri has also co-founded the nonprofit WellnessCampaign.org. Wellness Campaign is supporting thousands of people who are struggling with their health and weight-related chronic disease. The small-group model generates support and accountability, inspiring people to make long-term changes in how they move, how they eat, and how they live.
Kerri is also very involved in promoting the dietetic profession with her involvement in the Massachusetts Dietetic Association and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She was awarded the Young Dietitian of the Year Award from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and served as the President of the Massachusetts Dietetic Association in 2012-2013. She continue to remain very active on various boards for these organizations.
Kerri received her masters degree in Nutritional Sciences from The Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, completed her dietetic internship at the Frances Stern Nutrition Program at Tufts Medical Center and her bachelors degree in Dietetics from the University of New Hampshire. Kerri also has become a Certified Personal Trainer from the American College of Sports Medicine.
