Caitlin Westfall Howe, MS, MPH
- Alumni Association Executive Council, Member
Currently, I blog about healthy and sustainable living, productivity, and adventures in motherhood at www.CaitlinWHowe.com, where I also offer writing and public health consulting services. With a passion for social justice, community empowerment, and health promotion, I have more than a decade of experience in public health and nutrition. I have served in roles for a national health nonprofit, school district, public health department, and various research institutes. I hold a master of public health and a master of nutrition from Tufts University, and a bachelor of science from Davidson College.
The Friedman School facilitated my professional and intellectual growth by creating an environment supportive of advancement and collaboration. The aid I received as a student allowed me to have fantastic experiences that contributed to this growth, and this aid would not have been possible without help from friends of the Friedman School. I want current and future students to have similar marvelous experiences. Therefore, I give and volunteer with the Executive Council in order to support a group of dynamic, forward-thinking students who are constantly pushing the envelope through nutrition research, community engagement, and policy.
