Instructor in Food, Nutrition and Health, The University of British Columbia

The University of British Columbia invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Instructor (tenure track) commencing July 1, 2018. This position is based in the Food, Nutrition and Health (FNH) program in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems ( The successful candidate will be expected to instruct up to 18 credits of courses, including the existing food science laboratory courses (FNH 325, FNH 326, and FNH 425). Additional duties include supervising undergraduate student research projects, and responsibility for the annual Food Science program accreditation. The Instructor will also be required to demonstrate educational leadership related to teaching and curriculum development for the Food Science Majors and provide service to the Program, Faculty, and University.
