Research Opportunity: Third Sector New England

MGH SHIFT Study, five months part-time (5-10hours/week) paid position available for a highly motivated research technician to assist in a new project involving a large human study aimed at understanding the role of genetics, nutrition, and sleep on diabetes risk in shift workers at MGH’s Center for Genomic Medicine (Dr. Richa Saxena).  Responsibilities will include screening new subjects, recruiting and consenting subjects, overseeing and coordinating visits to clinical sites, and data entry, management and analysis. Laboratory experience and strong computer skills are preferred, but full training will be provided. Must be self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently after training, with attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills, and also willing to travel between locations within the Greater Boston area.
