10th Year Showcasing Graduate Student Research

The 10th Annual Future of Food and Nutrition Graduate Student Research Conference was held on April 8, 2017. Historically, more than 200 attendees from over 30 different institutions have attended the conference each year to hear students present research from fields as diverse as nutritional epidemiology and anthropology. Year after year, this conference has provided a unique venue for graduate students to learn from each other and to network with future colleagues.

Caitlin Matthews, N17, is only a few days away from the culminating moment in her graduate career: After three years of study in the Friedman School’s Agriculture, Food and Environment Program, and the Urban and Environmental Planning program at Tufts, she will be presenting her thesis on Friday, April 14th. Only three days later, she will be running in the Boston Marathon.
