Dean Dariush Mozaffarian recently joined Friedman Alumna Dani Nierenberg for a conversation about maneuvering out of the global nutrition crisis while guaranteeing a better future for the food system.
Created in August 2018, the podcast “Food Talk with Dani Nierenberg” features chefs, experts, and activists outlining their ideal food system—and how their projects are making a better food system more attainable.
“If you put together the health implications, the business implications, the environmental implications, and the implications for disparities [of the food system], this is a global crisis,” said Mozaffarian. The episode is titled "Academic Institutions Need to Act for the Food System."
