Please join President Anthony P. Monaco and Dean Dariush Mozaffarian for a special event at Tufts University celebrating the winners of the Jean Mayer Prize and the 40th anniversary of the Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy!
The winners of the award were chosen by a distinguished panel of industry leaders, Friedman School faculty, and leadership at Tufts University as part of our Public Impact Initiative activities. The prize is awarded every two years and in this exciting inaugural year there were four winners chosen. Each of the prize winners has fought for creating a healthier food environment for children across America and are outstanding examples of using trusted science to champion healthy food policies. One shining example is the bipartisan passage of the Healthy, Hunger Free Kids Act, which greatly improved school lunch and breakfast, as well as foods and snacks in early childcare and after school, for millions of American children. This award was made possible and supported by John Hancock Insurance.
We salute their lifetimes of achievements already accomplished, and we look forward to their years of real-world impact yet to come. Please join us in celebration of our esteemed prize winners and the Friedman School's 40th Anniversary, RSVP information is below.
