Our lab's mission is to determine the mechanisms of action of nutrients and bioactive compounds in improving brain function during aging. Our experiments address this goal in biological systems of increasing complexity, from stem cells in culture to aged human subjects.

Christopher D. Wiley

Christopher D. Wiley, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of at the Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy and a Scientist II at the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University. He holds additional appointments in the Department of Medicine and Graduate School of Biological Sciences.

Irwin H. Rosenberg

Dr. Irwin Rosenberg is University Professor of Nutrition and Medicine at Tufts University's USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging (HNRCA) and the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. He was educated through University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin and received his M.D. at Harvard Medical School.  Throughout his career, Rosenberg has participated in many national and international nutrition policy efforts and has held positions on committees for the Food and Drug Administration and the Institute of Medicine.  Dr.
