Neuroscience and Aging Research Lab

Our lab's mission is to determine the mechanisms of action of nutrients and bioactive compounds in improving brain function during aging. Our experiments address this goal in biological systems of increasing complexity, from stem cells in culture to aged human subjects.

Dr. Irwin Rosenberg is University Professor of Nutrition and Medicine at Tufts University's USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging (HNRCA) and the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy.
