The 16th Annual Tufts Nutrition Data Symposium (TNDS) features students and experts from all over the world. TNDS 2023 will be a hybrid symposium that kicks off with an opening keynote address by Dr. Catherine Nakalembe (NASA Harvest Africa program and University of Maryland) on Wednesday, March 8, followed by 2 days of virtual programming including expert panels, workshops, research presentations, featured speakers, and daily keynotes from Bruce Friedrich (Good Food Institute), Brie Turner-McGrievy (USC- Arnold School of Public Health), and Erin Coughlan de Perez (UN-IPCC, Tufts).
TNDS is a student-driven event that aims to empower the next generation of professionals in nutrition, public health, and data science. Last year, over 1,100 participants attended virtually, including participants from 45 U.S. states, 70 countries, over 200 academic institutions, and 300 organizations.
The TNDS 2023 theme is Sustainability Now! Action-Oriented Solutions for Food Systems, Nutrition, and Diet. This year we hope to accelerate and disseminate implementation science geared to some of the greatest threats and obstacles facing public health research today:
✔ Nutrition and the environment: sustainability in our food systems
✔ Nutrition and diet maintenance: healthy sustainable diets for people and populations
✔ Real-world nutrition impacts: operationalizing the science
We hope to see you at this year’s Tufts Nutrition Data Symposium! Complete our online form to register—it’s free, and virtual!
