Introducing the INDDEX24 Dietary Assessment Platform, a quantitative 24-hour dietary recall data collection tool developed for use in low- and middle-income countries.
Please join us for two interactive virtual webinars on Wednesday, June 2 and Thursday, June 17, 2021, from 8:30-10:00 AM EST to learn more about why, when, where, and how to apply these innovative tools to catalyze your research for diet-related program and policy-making.
Developed by the Tufts University Friedman School INDDEX Project, the INDDEX24 Dietary Assessment Platform is an integrated dietary research platform that leverages the INDDEX24 Mobile App and the Global Food Matters Database to accelerate food and nutrition research in low- and middle-income countries. INDDEX24 provides unified access to the essential tools researchers need in order to assemble and access dietary reference data, conduct timely and effective quantitative food consumption surveys, and analyze results.
You are cordially invited to attend either one or both of the following sessions:
- Session 1 (June 2) - Dietary Assessment Challenges and Opportunities: Introducing the INDDEX24 Dietary Assessment Platform: This session will illuminate the critical need to draw on data, analytics, and evidence to understand and affect change across the food, health, and environmental sustainability nexus and global progress on these fronts. We will outline the types of programmatic and policy decisions that depend on quantitative 24-hour recall data and will provide an overview of the INDDEX24 Dietary Assessment Platform and its benefits.
- Session 2 (June 17) - Using the INDDEX24 Dietary Assessment Platform: A Demo and Discussion: This session will delve into more detail on the workings of the INDDEX24 Dietary Assessment Platform. After a brief overview, we will demonstrate the two central components of the INDDEX24 Dietary Assessment Platform: the INDDEX24 Mobile App and the Global Food Matters Database. This session will allow ample time for Q&A and discussion around how to apply these tools for your research and policy needs.
We look forward to sharing our research and the launch of our tools with you.
