Each year, Tufts Institute of the Environment (TIE) sends delegates to represent Tufts University at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) annual Conference of the Parties (COP). Through their status as observers, the Tufts delegates gain important insight into the discussions that frame global climate change policy and action.
Join us for an informational Debrief from the Tufts Delegation to this year’s COP24, who have just returned from Katowice, Poland (Dec 3 - 14, 2018). The students, faculty, and staff who attended will discuss their experiences at the conference and answer questions from the Tufts community.
Application for COP25 are now open and this will be a great opportunity to learn more about the process of attending the event in November 2019 (tentative).
