Join the Friedman Food Policy Action Committee on Tuesday, December 4, from 12:10-1:30 PM in Behrakis Auditorium to hear nutritional biochemist, Dr. T. Colin Campbell, Professor Emeritus at Cornell University, share his views on the forces shaping our dietary guidelines. Dr. Campbell, who has appeared on Real Time with Bill Maher (July 22, 2011, episode #220) and was featured in the documentary film, Forks Over Knives, began his career in nutrition researcher nearly 60 year ago and has published over 300 papers and three books including The China Study, which is one of America's best selling books about nutrition. Following Dr. Campbell's presentation, a panel of faculty experts from the Friedman School, including Dr. Alice Lichtenstein and Professor Emeritus, Dr. Jeffrey Blumberg, will weigh in on the topic and lead us in what promises to be a stimulating conversation.
