This is the first week of an 8-week program run by the YMCA, but taking place in 156 Jaharis Center each Monday from 4-5PM
Registration and payment is required
The cost is $104/person for the 8 classes, and if you have a YMCA membership, the cost is only $56 for the 8 classes. If you are interested, please complete this program registration form and bring it with you on the first day of class. You will need to pay online or over the phone prior to the beginning of the first class and both the website and phone number are listed on the program registration form. - If you are not a member of the YMCA, you will be asked to create an account. If you are a member, you can set up an account by clicking “Find me”. This will give you the correct pricing.
Why chair yoga? Because it can be practiced anywhere and can benefit anyone. In this class you’ll learn yoga poses, strengthening exercises, proper alignment, and breathing techniques. We’ll practice exercises and stretches for arms, hands, neck, shoulders and back to help release tension and encourage relaxation.
This class is open to all levels of experience and mobility. Wear your most comfortable clothes!
