Volunteer Leadership. Positive Impact.
Launched in Spring 2016, the Tufts Nutrition Council (TNC) is a volunteer leadership group for the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. The TNC brings together volunteer leaders from diverse backgrounds who share our passion for nutrition and health, with a particular focus on how our food and food systems influence our communities, our environment, our families, and ourselves.
The goal of the TNC is to build a circle of key friends, supporters, and ambassadors who will help us achieve our shared aims for positive impact while also enjoying the great experience of a close relationship with a premier nutrition institution. We seek members who are passionate about what we eat and grow, whether for health, food systems, equity, or sustainability; and who believe in supporting and leveraging our broad vision and mission with their time, expertise, resources, and/or network of friends and colleagues.
