Research Assistant Professor

Biography 

Dr. Meng Wang was trained in epidemiology and preventive medicine. Her research focuses on identifying nutritional risk factors for cardiometabolic and renal disease and understanding the mechanisms that drive these conditions, with a particular emphasis on the interplay between diet and the gut microbiome. She also specializes in methodologies for cohort study design, longitudinal data analysis, causal inference, and risk prediction modeling.
