Biography
Dr. Kelseanna Hollis‑Hansen is a Research Assistant Professor at the Friedman School whose work focuses on developing and evaluating food security interventions and multi‑component strategies to support people living with diet‑sensitive chronic diseases. Over the past 15 years, she has advanced research on medically tailored nutrition programs, including medically tailored meals, groceries, and meal kits, and on improving food retail environments such as grocery stores and food pantries to promote healthier eating and household resilience.
In addition to her faculty position, she serves as the Faculty Director for the New England Regional Collaborative for Food is Medicine Program, as a program advisor and consultant on behalf of the Center for Nutrition and Health Impact, and co-directs the Healthy Eating Research (HER) early-stage investigator working group. She was previously an Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
