Biography

Helene Vilme, MS, MPH, DrPH, is a social scientist and public health researcher whose work integrates nutrition science, implementation science, sustainable agriculture, and equity-focused scholarship to advance health outcomes. Her research examines how food systems, climate, and structural inequities intersect to shape nutrition, health, and economic resilience. Trained in health promotion and health education, she employs community-based participatory research, mixed qualitative and quantitative methods, and program evaluation to generate actionable evidence that informs interventions, policy, and practice aimed at improving health outcomes.
