This course covers nutrition issues from preconception throughout life, with a particular emphasis on nutrition correlates of normal growth and development and on the consequences of under and over nutrition. It briefly considers the role of nutrition in the context of the normal physiologic changes that occur with aging. This is a 1.5 semester hour unit course. Enrollment priority for NICBC students, and for FANPP and AFE PhD students, as well as for FANPP students pursuing thee Nutrition Interventions specialization.
NUTR 0301 will meet in the first half of the semester; first class session: January 21, 2020 and last class session March 3, 2020.
Please note on January 21 class will meet in the MedEd Building, Room 316 (145 Harrison Avenue) and on February 11 class will meet in the MedEd Building, Room 218. Class will meet in the MedEd Building, Room 507 for all of the other class sessions.
