Course Description

Part one of a one-year, two-semester course covering descriptive statistics, graphical displays, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, t test, chi-square test, nonparametric tests, multiple linear regression, multiple logistic regression, experimental design, multi-factor and multiple comparisons procedures. Students will learn how to use Stata statistical analysis software. 

LABS:  Selected Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:30pm – 5:00pm, Sackler 507 except on October 15 when Lab will meet in Sackler 514, Computer Lab.

One half of class will participate in labs on Mondays (September 17, October 1, October 15, and November 19).

The other half of the class will participate in labs on Wednesdays (September 19, October 3, October 17, November 14). Lab day assignments will be discussed the first week of class. 

Prerequisites

Graduate standing or instructor consent.
