In the immediate aftermath of a disaster or conflict, and throughout the transition from emergency response to recovery and sustainable development, Save the Children’s presence in 120 countries facilitates the rapid delivery of evidence-based and innovative health and nutrition interventions that address the major causes of illness and death among the world’s most vulnerable populations. The Emergency Health and Nutrition (EHN) team at Save the Children US works closely with colleagues in the development sector of Health & Nutrition as well as with colleagues in Humanitarian Response, both within the US team and with other Members in multiple countries allowing the intern to gain exposure to many different facets of the organization. The intern will work under the supervision of the READY Program Coordinator and will primarily focus on activities related to research, knowledge management, program coordination, and logistical/administrative support.
