Three postdoctoral positions are available on an NIA funded Institutional Research Training Grant titled, “Harvard Translational Research in Aging Training Program”. Funding is for two years and should begin sometime between May 1, 2018 and September 1, 2018. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. This funding supports salary, mentored research activities, coursework, and seminars. Trainees may also apply for loan forgiveness. Areas of research span basic science, clinical, and health care topics in aging and include:
-Mechanisms and preventive interventions for falls and mobility impairments (e.g. transcranial direct current stimulation and Tai Chi exercises)
-Epidemiology, genetics and nutritional aspects of bone, muscle and skeletal Imaging
-Cerebrovascular pathophysiology and imaging
-Palliative Care / Health Policy
-Delirium and Dementia/ Alzheimer’s Disease
