Our current products include fresh, human-grade pet food made-to-order in house and shipped directly to customers across the country as well as a growing line of science-backed internally-formulated supplements. Job description:
We have an outstanding opportunity for a motivated and accomplished nutritionist or scientist to join the team with an emphasis on small animal nutrition. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding nutrition protocols, assisting with new product formulation, contributing to the broader scientific mission, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders about the science of nutrition and the role it plays in pet health. Broadly, you will focus on executing the nutritional vision of the company, which is founded on a principle of producing the highest quality pet foods available with an emphasis on scientifically valid and rigorously formulated products. This involves developing new areas for nutritional validation, working with the veterinarian-led FSQA team, contributing to the creation of new nutritional products under the direction of a board-certified veterinary nutritionist, assisting in the dissemination of scientific discovery, and envisioning a customer experience wherein product recommendations are personalized to the benefit of pets.
