Food Policy Councils (FPCs) are organizations that bring together representatives from across the food system to assess their food system, coordinate programs, foster relationships, and advise on policy. The Kansas Health Foundation is funding capacity-building activities for FPCs across Kansas as well as a state-level convening group with the ultimate goal of improving access to healthy foods in the state. The Foundation is funding Dr. Larissa Calancie to conduct an evaluation of the 3-year project.
