Policy Advisor (FPE)
Highlight is seeking an analytical, creative, action-oriented, mid-level Policy Advisor to support USAID’s Bureau for Policy, Planning, and Learning (PPL), which engages in policy planning to advance USAID’s global mission and in support of broader U.S. national security and foreign policy objectives. You will support PPL’s Office of Policy (PPL/P) and its newly established Foreign Policy Engagement (FPE) team, which works hand-in-hand with other technical and regional leads throughout the Agency to shape, develop, and enact foreign policy related to development and humanitarian affairs; to bring development expertise into wider national security and foreign policy deliberations, including at the National Security Council; and to translate higher-level U.S. policy priorities into actionable guidance for U.S. foreign assistance programs and other development efforts worldwide.
