The Sustainable Seafood Project Manager will manage the Gulf of Maine Responsibly Harvested program, a verification program and ecolabel. The Project Manager will maintain and build relationships with existing partners, as well as conduct outreach to prospective participants. The Project Manager will also be responsible for maintaining the program’s credibility in the marketplace through reporting and oversight of label usage. The Project Manager will assist with other outreach efforts and convening work throughout the New England region, engaging the supply chain, from fisherman to buyer, in strategies to increase the value and demand for Gulf of Maine seafood. Finally, the Project Manager will coordinate and contribute to communications and events aimed at increasing awareness of and affinity for seafood generally, and seafood from the Gulf of Maine specifically.
