Under the direct supervision of the principal investigators, support Tufts University Research Projects taking place in Asia/Africa.
Research topics include: International Health and Nutrition interventions, focusing especially on food security and humanitarian assistance programs in Asia and Africa.
Requirements: Master’s Degree in Food and Nutrition Science or closely related field; 3 years of research experience; International travel to research survey sites for study roll outs; supervision and dissemination, 30% travel to Nepal, Bangladesh, Uganda, Malawi and Mozambique. Background must include a degree in food and nutrition science; a strong research scientific background with at least 3 years of research experience in working with governments and NGO’s, and excellent communication and diplomatic skills to communicate with government officials.
