The Catalyzing Communities to Prevent Obesity project is seeking a Project Administrator to help with the coordination and implementation of our systems approach to community-based obesity prevention in several communities nationwide. The ideal candidate for the project administrator position will provide specialized subject matter knowledge in nutrition science and community engaged research, along with an excitement and willingness to learn about innovative methods and approaches to obesity prevention. The Project Administrator will be involved with all aspects of research and project coordination, including facilitating communication between community partners, study participants, and internal and external co-investigators. The Project Administrator will also be responsible for creating and overseeing data management and filing systems, preparing data for and helping to carry out analyses and visualizations, drafting manuscripts and reports, working with the team to plan and execute meetings and events for partners and co-investigators, and monitoring IRB protocols.
The ideal candidate has excellent organizational as well as written and oral communication skills, along with a keen interest and willingness to learn and engage with experts in nutrition, public health, and systems science.
