The American Society for Nutrition is accepting applications for fellowship positions to participate in an interdisciplinary scientific effort to examine the intersection of protein nutrition, food systems and health, domestically and globally, in a changing environment. The specific focus will be on the impact of this intersection on decisions about diet and health, environmental impacts/remediation, and consumer and producer choices. Titled Protein in a Changing Environment (PRICE), the effort is being organized by ASN in partnership with the Keystone Policy Center. PRICE is being funded by the ASN Foundation through a public-private partnership model with multiple grants from industry, commodity boards, non-governmental organizations, and government agencies.
The deadline to submit applications is 12/4/2020. Any questions should be directed to education@nutrition.org.
