H. Chan School of Public Health.  With twenty years experience as a senior management professional in the non-profit health sector and twenty years as a senior academic administrator, he focuses on organizational behavior, strategic planning, crisis intervention and board development. In the consulting practice he founded, "Managing Excellence", he continues to apply his knowledge in these areas for the benefit of small, medium and large organizations in the health and human service sectors with targeted interventions focused on specific problems/issues/challenges and with a guarantee of specific deliverables.  He has been mentoring professionals for decades and derives great personal satisfaction from stimulating minds and stewarding individuals on journeys of self-discovery.  David is the trombonist and manager of The Jazz Disciples.  An avid volunteer in community organizations, he also cherishes time with his spouse of 40+ years, three strong, bright and accomplished adult daughters, a stubborn but loving English Springer Spaniel, and an inquisitive and beautiful grand-daughter!
