Most American Dietetic Association (ADA) approved dietetic internships (DIs) select applicants through a computer matching process. Computer matching is coordinated by D&D Digital Systems, and follows the ADA spring and fall DI application deadlines.
What does a computer matching program do?
A matching program serves as a clearinghouse to help applicants obtain supervised practice positions of their choice and to help DIs obtain applicants of their choice. ADA contracts with D&D Digital Systems to facilitate the computer matching process.
Computer matching simulates the steps of the traditional recruitment process using the rank order lists completed by applicants and programs. As a result, applicants receive one position with their highest ranked program that offers the applicant a position.
How do I apply to Computer Matching?
Obtain the instruction packet from your Didactic Program advisor or by contacting D&D Digital Systems.
Complete and sign the release card and mark/sense preferences card.
Send materials (release card, mark/sense preferences card, $50 check or money order) to D&D Digital Systems by certified mail. A US Postal Service Return Receipt Requested is recommended to ensure delivery on or before the postmark deadline.
