Now over 1600 strong, our alumni are working across the country and around the globe, carrying out the Friedman School mission of advancing the nutritional well-being of people worldwide. Our graduates are making a difference in health services, academia, nongovernmental organizations such as food banks and relief organizations, public relations firms, the media, policy-making institutions, and the pharmaceutical and food industries.
Friedman alumni are helping Fortune 500 companies adopt environmentally sustainable and socially responsible business practices. They’re making groundbreaking scientific discoveries that enhance our understanding of the relationship between nutrition and aging. And they’re administering nutrition assistance programs for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, advising the World Champion Boston Red Sox, and encouraging economically challenged communities to adopt healthful eating practices… to name just a few of their professional achievements!
As busy as they are out in the world, our alumni are increasingly involved in the life of the school. Established seven years ago, the Friedman School Alumni Association, of which all alumni are automatically members, affords a great opportunity for graduates to stay connected to Tufts and to one another. To find out more, please visit our Alumni Association page.
We couldn’t be more proud of the accomplishments of Friedman School alumni on behalf of their profession, their community, and the world. And we’re grateful for all that alumni have done, and continue to do, for the school.
