Application instructions and deadlines are available as part of our online application. Our online application system is closed for the month of August for updating. Please email elizabeth.marino_costello@tufts.edu for an application. The online application includes the personal statement, official transcripts, TOEFL scores or IELTS as alternate to TOEFL (If your formal degree was taught in English we may waive this requirement), application fee and three letters of recommendation. The GRE exam may be required and this will be determined on an individual basis. If required, the GRE score must be in the 60%tile or above on the verbal and quantitative sections of the exam.

While filling out the application please note that on page 4, for the Degree dropdown, you will need to select M.N.S.P. Under Program dropdown, you will need to select Master's of Nutrition Science and Policy.

Application Checklist

Applicants must provide the following materials:

  • Online Application Form
  • Personal Statement
  • A $70 Application Fee
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • An official copy of all post-secondary academic transcripts (translated into English)
  • Official scores of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
  • Official score of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). TOEFL or IELTS exams may be waived if the prior instruction was completed in English.
