The MS + MPH is a combined degree program offered in conjunction with Public Health at the School of Medicine, which offers students a combined Master of Science in Nutrition and Master of Public Health degree. The program is offered in two years (6 semesters) time providing students the opportunity to pursue complementary programs and concentrations within public health and nutrition.
Students can fit the program into their schedule and take their studies either full-time or part-time. Degree candidates can choose an MS program in nutrition and one of five concentrations within the MPH program based on their interests and goals.
Admissions and financial aid decisions are made separately by each program. Please consult the Tufts School of Medicine’s MS-Nutrition/MPH program for more information.
Unique Pathways
With this dual degree program, students will be able to combine an intensive focus on Nutrition with the breadth and skills orientation of an MPH degree. By picking an MS program in Nutrition and an MPH concentration (or individualized study in lieu of a concentration) students will diversify their skillset and marketability. Students will also benefit from the resources and alumni networks of both programs.
