HIP Farmer's Market Coordinator

The Mayor's Office of Food Initiatives is hiring one HIP Project Coordinator to work up to 30 hours a week supporting the Boston Farmers Market program and implementing the goals of the HIP project.  In cooperation with The Healthy Incentive Program (HIP) partners, the HIP/Farmer’s Market coordinator will provide education, outreach, training, and operational support to farmers market managers, their vendors, and farm stands in the City of Boston as the Mayor’s Office of Food Initiatives (OFI) implements this new food access program. HIP provides a dollar-for-dollar match for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) purchases of eligible local fruits and vegetables at farmers markets, farm stands, and community-supported agriculture (CSA) programs throughout the state.
