About Ras Al Khaimah
Ras Al Khaimah, one of seven emirates forming the United Arab Emirates, is located about one hour's drive north of Dubai. RAK has a cultural legacy and boasts striking varied landscapes with dramatic mountains, red sandy deserts and lush plains. Recent archeological excavations and finds have revealed a culture and civilization dating back to 5000 BC. Today, RAK culture is influenced not only by its rich history but also by the thriving global and diverse economy operating within its borders.
