Faculty
The faculty, and associated faculty of the Friedman School are the key to a superior educational program. A broad range of specialties among faculty members leads to research in nutrition from multiple perspectives, making the school's research and teaching programs truly interdisciplinary. The faculty work with their graduate student colleagues in many efforts, among these to:
- contribute to the scientific knowledge and policy dialogue on a national and international scale
- develop real world solutions to the challenges of our time in nutrition: creating and maintaining healthy lifestyles, preventing and fighting disease, meeting the nutritional needs of populations throughout the world
- understand the effects of complex emergencies on national, community and household-level infrastructures and food.
