Flu Information

Free Flu Clinics
Masspro, working with the State Dept. of Public Health, has set up a web site which lists all public flu clinics in the State. The clinics listed are for seasonal flu vaccine at this time. The site also has links to current information on seasonal and H1N1 vaccines form the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the CDC. This site will list public clinics for H1N1 vaccination when the vaccine becomes available. http://flu.masspro.org/clinic/
Call any flu clinic listed in the Flu Clinic Finder BEFORE going to get a flu shot to confirm the time and date, and to see if there is a charge. Some clinics may bill your health insurance, so please take your health insurance card with you.
The H1N1 vaccine has been ordered for all medical and dental students (because of patient contact) and students 24 years old and under and will be administered on campus. Clinic dates will be announced once the vaccine arrives. We originally thought the vaccine would arrive in October but it will probably be early November since the initial shipments are going to hospitals. The vaccine will be free of charge to you.
